I was particularly caught by a comment from Hawkings. “We are such insignificant creatures on a minor planet of a very average star on the outer suburbs of one of a hundred thousand million galaxies. So it is difficult to believe in a God that would care about us or even notice our existence.” I think
After reading Christmas Controversy on Wikipedia I was left with the need to take a serious look at my own, emotionally rabid, thoughts and prejudices. If I have time I will add to this post, but in the mean time gloss over the Wikipedia article. There are some very interesting and disturbing realities regarding the history of the festival known as Christmas.
