Super RANT for the morning. Yesterday I couldn’t hit my server at all. Finally at lunch time I put in a service ticket to my web hosting provider asking what was up.
Reply: You need to reset your MX records to the following server DNS xxxxxxxxxx.
I’m sorry I guess I must have missed that email that you were supposed to send me telling me that you were changing over your DNS server Sunday night – grrrrrrrr!
If it wasn’t for the fact that they are dirt cheap and let me have unlimited MySQL databases along with CPanel, I’d be looking else where. Oh well, you get what you pay for.
Old post, I know, but I just discovered you were back.
Anywho, wanted you to know that my host, Total Choice Hosting also offers cpanel and unlimited MySQL as well as unlimited POP3 email acounts. I pay $5 a month for 40 GB monthly transfer and 1,200 MB storage and the service has been quite good so far. I’ve only been with them a few months, however.
