Rong – yeah that’s me, but why you ask? Silly ol’you…
I used to play the online game and vortex of death called Everquest, but known to all as Evercrack. My main character was a paladin. Now paladins are religious warriors – think crusades. They have an innate ability to kill the dead, i.e. zombies, ghouls, skeletons, you get the idea. My characters name was Rongisnom the Requiest. Rongisnom being Monsignor spelled backwards and Requiest being a play on the work Requiem. I used to joke that the name meant I sang the final lament for the dead as I permanently put them out of their misery. When I got into blogging I wanted a nickname instead of using my real name, so I first started using Rongisnom but that’s just too long – so Rong it is.
