Given our discussions of late. Here are some great questions to answer and at the same time help a young lady with her masters thesis. This is a link to her web site. HT to Challies.
If you’d like to comment on these answers that would be great, but please make sure to email them to: for.him@gmail.com
Here are the questions she is posing:
1) Define accountability (keep in mind this is referring to Christian one on one accountability)?
2) What are your thoughts/views on personal one on one accountability or small group accountability?
3) Is having accountability with another person (or people) important? why or why not?
4) Is the topic of accountability taught at your local church? (either through bible study or sermons).
5) Does your local church implement and encourage being accountable to someone? If yes, how do they do this?
6) Do you personally have an accountability partner or a small group where you tell others of your sins and struggles?
6a) If yes, what are your experiences (good and bad)?
6b) If no, why not?
too funny… my “accountability” software (BeSafe) blocks her website. Xanga? there’s something terribly ironic about this but I can’t articulate what it is.
