An innocuous enough title, but what it refers to is masturbation – autoeroticism. For the church it is a topic that is rarely if ever discussed. As my mother would say it’s a topic and discussion that belongs out in the gutter. For most men it is a topic that we’d love to discuss because of the guilt that the act leaves us with, yet we are too ashamed to bring to light. Tim Challies is tackling this topic and is doing a wise and just job to an issue that leaves men feeling more than a little fermisht.
