I don’t believe I’ve ever posted a prayer request on this site before. I’m of the mind that I’ll turn to my church family for those requests. But I am deeply wounded and covet all the prayers that I can get, but not for myself…
My brother-in-laws niece is dieing from cancer. I don’t want to get descriptive with the disease but it’s one of the ugliest cases I’ve ever had described to me. This is a young (22), godly woman, in what should be the prime of her life, and instead of enjoying God’s wonderful beauties she instead has had to ponder long and hard God’s justice and love in her life. Through countless surgeries, radiation and chemo she has clung to God’s promises when at times those around her have questioned the seemingly injustice physically wrought on her. It’s been years of struggles and the cancer has won the battle for her body, but God has won her soul.
From my sisters last email it appears that Sabrina Marie is in a medication induced coma. My prayer is that God will show mercy and take her quickly. I also pray that her family finds comfort with one another and that they can all draw nearer to God.
