Since I asked for your prayers the other day, I thought I’d pass along the latest update on my brother-in-laws niece.
This is from an email sent by her mother.
Dear Prayer Partners,
We visited Sabrina this evening and she is still unconscious. They have reduced the sedation considerably; still there is no movement or response. There is a hospital protocol that they have been going through in a situation like Sabrina’s. They did an EEG and a CAT scan this evening and this was to check for brain activity. We won’t know the results until tomorrow. Sabrina is very swelled up and her breathing is heavy and abnormal. We all have accepted the fact that Sabrina may soon go home to be with Jesus. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain and she doesn’t respond to sound or any attempts to make her flinch doesn’t work either. The nurses at the Lehigh Valley Hospital are taking excellent care of Sabrina.
Request prayer for God’s will in this situation with Sabrina’s condition, that our whole family would have peace, comfort and the bitterness would go away, that a hedge of protection would be placed around Sabrina and the whole family, and that God would have mercy on Sabrina.
At a time like this we take much comfort in knowing Sabrina knows Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We Love You Lord.
GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL!
Thank you for Praying, we feel His presence
While my heart is greatly saddened, it is at the same time buoyed by the confidence of this family in the sovereignty of our Lord.
Thank you again for your prayers,
Rong
