What an Awesome Display of Cunning Pack Mentality!
At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty.
The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the “apex predator†in it’s natural eco-system, can still fall victim to implemented ‘team work’ strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and “survival of the fittest pack mentalityâ€, Bred into the canines over thousands of years by natural selection.

Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from breathing, while the remainder of the pack prevents the beast from rolling.

Awwww, man! You had me going. The picture didn’t show up in my feed reader and when I brought up the actual post I was expecting something a little more, uhhhh, brutal.
ROFLOL. Apparently this whole post is older than dirt. I got “had” the same way yesterday when I first saw this on another blog. Given that my wife and I are bonafied dog freaks I was really expecting the worst.
Still waiting for the wife to see it.
