The wife and I along with our 17 year old son took a trip up to Grove City College on Friday so he could go to an interview.  My son and I had been up to Grove City back in the early Spring for an open house, but it was fun to go up on Friday since all the freshmen had just arrived.  After his interview we and a dozen other families were given a tour of the campus. When we were there in the Spring is was so cold that we were hustling from one building to the next to stay warm, this time it was the exact opposite. I felt like a snowman stuck inside an oven that was on the self-clean cycle.  It was good though to hear about the campus from another persons perspective.  We were also taken through the gym which was incredible given the size of this small school. They have not one but two indoor pools. Apparently their water polo team is pretty decent.

One of our senior pastors daughters is up there for her freshman year so we hung around after our son’s interview and had dinner with her in one of the dining halls. It was nice to hear what orientation is all about and what “the boy” can look forward to if he’s accepted this Fall.
