I commend to you this post from Tim Challies. Tim simply and deftly puts the rubber on the road painting a picture as easily understood as one can regarding the virtue of discipline.
Please take the time to read it. And when you’ve finished go back and re-read the last paragraph. Then read it again. And then answer it. We need to answer these questions every day, we need to answer them with heads bowed by the weight of our transgressions, we need to answer them arms straining to the heavens in worship to our Lord.
As with Tim’s challenge so I challenge each of us (you know who you are) and with this challenge comes our sworn commitment to one another, to hold each other accountable.
