I am involved in a Christian men’s group.  Every now and then someone will ask me what the group is about and I get tired of trying to explain what we are. We’re Christian bothers and friends first.  We’re accountable to one another.  We study God’s word through the Bible and other selected material.  We lovingly encourage and support one another.  For those who have never had the opportunity to be in a group like this it’s hard to grasp the devotion for each other that we’ve sworn ourselves to.

In light of many discussions where we’ve used the analogy of tending our gardens, meaning the people and responsibilities that God has placed in our lives, I jokingly had one of my friends at work help me create this logo.

This past Saturday I handed out t-shirts that I’d had made up with this logo on the back. The guys really got a kick out of it.

BTW – Spencerville, MD happens to be where The Pot Stirrer lives and whose house we meet at.

And so we are now the Spencerville Men’s Garden Club.
